Yes, close east is tinderbox of unrest. Its because too many nations, too many faiths in one place. And because of Israel. No matter if it was right to give jews their own country or not, problem is in problematic place. In by Isreal occupied Gaza territory died in January 108 people. Not mentioned those whose death wasnt confirmed as violent. Incredible number? Its probably smaller than it could be, nobody wants to say taht Israel caused humanitary catastrophy in whole area. People in Gaza lives without electricity, without drinking water.

Or is it something else? While some people celebrate new year, others are fighting for life or just dying by hunger or diseases. Some of them just because of they were born at bad place. People from slums have no chance to live like human beings. Or those poor children in Africa. Thell give them notebooks. Really nice, but what good it will bring? Instead of teaching those children how to seed better, how to build new water reservoirs, or how to store their harvest? Those poor children will only see how other people can live, while they are doomed ti die by starvation and powerty. On the other side, even those who will terach how to work computer and than go to city will be doomed, because those OLPC notebooks are so different from common pcs, that chance poor man or girl can work on other machine is about zero. And even those better countries have their own troubles. Just think about what happend day before new year: More than 100 people killed in Kenya during preparation of election. And this continue, number of victims is now at few hundreds. Explosions in Thailand, burning camps at Sinai, terrorist alert in Belgium, etc etc. Just say happy new year, and really wish it. Not to be happy, to be peacefull will be enough.

Its incredible, but by official notes, this year already died more than 5100 people in Afghanistan because of assasinations. They are made by many different ways: some people were shot, some blown up by bombs at roads, many killed by suicidals either wearing bombs on their bodies or driving cars filled by explosives. Its really incredible what made US invasion from this nice country.

But nobody knows more, it is only "We think" and "We captured some terrorists later, so we suppose there are more". To be honest i dont think terrorists have a nuke, and if they put those few grams of nuclear waste into conventional bomb, it will harm nobody. To make a nuke is hard work for states, dont tell me bullshit, that few fanatics hardly able to read and write can do this.

Haidarabad, India. In 2 explosions died at least 34 people immediately, 9 more died next, and it maybe still isnt over. 80 people are wounded, some of them seriously. By local authorities, another 12 charges found in city, but they were disarmed. Islamistic extremists are supposed to be responsible for those. Haidarabad (1200 km southern from Delhi) is city where lives moslems and hinduists, and they hate each others.

About fate of kidnapped Korean missionaries. Either their brothers would be released from Afghani prisons, or they will execute hostages. They already killed 1 man. Hm, seems they will only talk about, and dont do anything. If Talibans really want do terror, than there already were 22 bodies of dead missionaries. That is problem of many so called terrorists groups. They request something, but they mostly arent ready to kill their hostages. Each day, when they only talk is probability, that anti terrorist commando wil atack their headquarters bigger. Only really strong people can take soma advantages from taking hostiles, but seems Talibans forgot this.

That they will execute kidnapped missionaries, just as they killed those kidnapped germans. Request is to release prisoners. And also to withdraw 200 korean soldiers from country. Nato forces surrounded whole area and they are ready to strike, but until now they only wait. Taliban said, that any attempt to save kidnapped koreans will lead to executing them, rather then let them free. Worst on whole situation is, that those koreans probably went to country only to help people there, not to harm as others do. Hope it will be solved some way, not killing those poor missinaries.
