Civilians killed by Maoist bomb

At least six bus passengers in Nepal have been killed in explosions while trying to move road-blocks placed by Maoist rebels.

Five members of the security forces died in the same district on Friday while trying to remove roadblocks.

Last June the rebels admitted that an attack on a passenger bus in which at least 38 died was a "serious mistake".

Nine years of civil war in Nepal have left more than 12,000 people dead at the hands of both sides.

Negociations about new Iraqi constitution will continue for 3 more days. Hajim Hassani (leader of Iraqi parlament) said that with gods help Iraq will have constitution in 3 days. Sunnite muslims fears of big regional freedom which wants Kurds and part of shiit arabians. they think that it will result in tearing Iraq apart. You may now think i am mad, writing this onto blog about terrorists. But remember my words, if that negociations fails uterly, they will start cutting throats themselves and there will be really much suicidal bombers, and other atrocities there in Iraq.

Jordanian Police

The Iraqi branch of al-Qaida, linked to Jordanian militant Abu Musab al-Zarqawi, has claimed responsibility for Friday's rocket attack aimed at two U.S. Navy ships in a Jordanian port. Jordanian officials have arrested a Syrian man they accuse of carrying out the attack, although police say his three accomplices escaped across the border into Iraq.

The group calling itself al-Qaida in Iraq issued an Internet statement claiming responsibility for the Aqaba rocket attack, which killed a Jordanian soldier and wounded another. The group is led by Jordanian militant Abu Musab al-Zarqawi, who is accused of masterminding some of the deadliest attacks in Iraq and carries a $25 million bounty on his head. The statement attributed to his group could not be authenticated.

It is the second al-Qaida-linked group to claim credit for Friday's attack, which targeted two U.S. Navy warships moored in the Red Sea port but failed to hit them. The other group is the Abdullah Azzam Brigades, which also claims to have carried out two earlier bombings in the Egyptian Sinai peninsula.

Explozion rock

An explosion has rocked a commercial center in a Christian suburb north of Beirut, wounding at least five people, according to reports from the Lebanese Broadcasting Corporation.

The blast went off near the Hotel Promenade in Zalka, which is also near a Starbucks cafe. However, there were conflicting reports of where the bomb had been planted.

A Lebanese civil defense spokesperson told LBC that the bomb had been planted inside a building, while a Lebanese security source said it was detonated in a parking lot adjacent to the hotel.

The blast happened just before 11 p.m. (4 p.m. ET). Video from the LBC showed army troops cordoning off the area and ambulance crews responding to the scene.

The blast appeared to have caused extensive damage to the outside walls of a building.

Just last month a powerful explosion rocked a Christian area of Beirut. Hours after U.S. Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice paid a surprise visit, the second major blast in two weeks shook the Lebanese capital on July 22. No deaths were reported.

On July 12 Lebanon's outgoing deputy Prime Minister Elias Murr was among 12 people wounded by a blast that tore through a Christian neighborhood in northern Beirut. At least two people were killed.

During Rice's visit, she stopped at the grave of former Prime Minister Rafik Hariri, the opposition leader assassinated on February 14, and laid a wreath.

She also met with his son, Sa'ad Hariri, a member of parliament and head of one of the largest blocs in the new government.
